The lot detail page provides the buyers will all the details for each specific lot. This information is crucial in determining how serious a buyer becomes in wanting to buy the item and win the auction.
The more information placed on this page, the more the buyer is likely to make a decision to buy. And this means you will have a more competitive auction as more buyers decided to make the same decision.
The bids received are processed in real time and this means this page, as well as the auction list page, will update in real time.
You will see the following change when bids are placed:
Increases as bids are placed. This reflects the total number of bids placed for this lot, including autobids.
The current highrst bid for this lot, whether it is above or below reserve. This will update automatically when bids are placed by any bidder on this lot.
These indicators are cokour coded in green for winning and red for losing. this will change automatically as the winner of the lot changes.
Before a bid is placed, this will show 'Place Bid' in a grey background.
The clock will countdown towards zero automatically. If overtime bidding is triggered the clock will reset to at least 10 minutes left. The clock ticks down every 1 second.
The bidders, only when they are logged in and approved, using the bidding panel on this page and the auction listing page. They both operate in exactly the same way.
Bids are placed using the input box. The current incremental bid value is the default value for this box.
Bidders place their bids by pressing Bid, followed by Confirm.
The bidder can proceed by confirming the bid, or they can press Cancel to back out of the bid and return to the previous state.
Once the bid has been placed the bidder will be notified they are winning.
Buyers can also place autobid (sometimes know as proxy bids or maximum bids), where they sert a maximm value they wish to bid to, and then the system will bid on their behalf up to that value.
This will ensure the remain in the winning position up to their chosen maximum bid.
The process of placing the autobid is much the same as for placing an incremental bid. The bidder will instead enter the bid value they wish to bid to, press Confirm (or Cancel as required) and the bid will be placved in the background for them.
Everytime a bid is placed by an opposing bidder, the platform will place a high bid against this other bidder to remain in the winning position.

The buyer can use the left and right arrows shown above to move between the previous and next lots listed in the auction.
This will take the buyer back to the main auction listing page.
Underneath the bidding panel there is additional information about the lot. This includes a lot description and some auction information including the viewing and collection details for the auction as a whole.
