# Applying to Bid

## Applying to Bid

You have the option to allow buyers to bid once they have registration on the site as a whole. You also the option of vetting each buyer who wishes to bid each and every auction.

The advantage of vetting each bidder on every auction is that it gies you the opportunity to weed out any buyers who have let you down on previous sales or who may not add value to the sale process.

The process is simple from the buyers perspective. They login in to your website in the usual way. They will see the invitation to apply to bid near the top of the auction listing page.

It will also appear in place of the bidding button on the bidding panel, until and if they are approved to bid.
