# Viewing Invoices

The invoices are generated for the buyers as a downloadable PDF. This means it can be download locally by the buyers for their administration purposes.

{% hint style="warning" %} **We don't recommend sending the invoice as an attachment to the buyer.**
{% endhint %}

Sending invoices via insecure email can lead to a hacking attempt. Hackers can intercept your email and change the payment details on the invoice, even if it is a PDF document. They will change the payment details and fool your buyers in to paying your invoice in to the wrong bank account.

**To send a secure invoice,** **instead, publish the invoice to the buyers 'My Account' and send an automatically generated email to the user.**

Once the invoice has been completed and you are happy with it 'Publish' the invoice and it will appear in the buyers 'My Account' when they are logged in.

They will also be sent an email from your website to tell them their invoice is ready.
